Dungeons & Dragons 101  (United States)
So, how I've spoken to a couple people that might be interested in this. Anyone else have any input? I was thinking of trying a "beginning" game of just 3 sessions over the course of perhaps 6 weeks... so one night every other week or so. Just something different to try. It would be a beginning level adventure, with time spent on some basic game mechanics. There would be a limited amount of 3-5 people for this trial.

also what nights we thinking? .. how long of a session?  (flash backs: I remember taking entire weekends just to get out of town ;) )

I was thinkin of using the new rule set, but to start off with, I was going to do something preset. Like have 6 premade characters people could choose from, all level 1, and starting out in one of the D&D premade worlds. Duration, I was thinking 3-4 sessions, about once every other week, for about 3-5 hours per session. What do you all think? If yes, then with the 2 of you plus Benjamin, we would just need to find 1 more!

aww.. I think half the fun is rolling up your own toon...

but then we use to have some creative ways of doing that too.. like rolling up the sets of stats .. and then picking the best set for your class..

often I'd see a GM "boost" one stat.. for each character...

I "might" be able to get one more.. I'll check to see if he's interested. he talked about it years ago...
